This will also give you an option to partner with local brands and businesses to increase affiliate / referral marketing when guests book at a local restaurant through the app offering them a discount and the hotel a referral fee.

Bathroom Amenities
While in room bathroom amenities are expected as the ‘norm’ why not add a ‘take-home pack’ which features your amenity brands full size options and additional products for purchase. For example, if you’re a seaside hotel you might feature sunscreen and aloe vera, or perhaps your focus is on relaxation and you have sleep mist, specialty bath salts or aromatherapy rollers for purchase for tired travellers.

Cocktail Station
Offering in-room cocktail making stations is becoming increasingly popular and a great option for increasing room sales. How about adding to this by offering the accompanying recipe book as an option for sale so that guests can take home a piece of their in room experience.

Essential Travellers Station
Create an ‘essentials travellers station’ this could be tailored based on who's staying in the room, and might feature selection of anything from power banks for the road to adapters, to children's books and toy packs or travel pillows to help them with comfort on their journey.
